Five Vape Tricks

By: Tiffany Davis

There is a lot of fun things that you can do when you vape.  As you already know playing with your vapor clouds is never ending.  Weather, you just like watching the pluming clouds rise and settle in the room or just causally just vaping away.  There are still many things I have learned that you can do just for the fun of it. One of my favorite things when I vape is to have a glass of water where I blow my vape cloud into and I just watch the vapor dance on the water in the glass. To me it’s almost memorizing to watch. There are more things you can try and master more in the trick department:

1.       French Inhale/Irish Waterfall-

This is where you exhale vapor from your mouth and inhale the same vapor into your nose! It seems pretty easy but, I have yet to master this without laughing because, I just make it look silly. The difficulty of this trick is probably 7 out of 10. I found a great tutorial on how to master the French Inhale with illustrations.

2.       Vapor Rings-

Many of us have seen this trick on “Alice in Wonderland” when the caterpillar blows smoke rings at the young Alice. This trick is when you inhale vapor and before you exhale make an “O” with your mouth and gently push the vapor out using your tongue. The caterpillar made this trick look easy but, of course it is far more difficult. The difficulty I would say is a 9 or 10 out of ten. I know only a handful of people that can master this trick! Here is a very animated tutorial on how to master smoke rings.

3.       The Ghost inhale-

This one I have never seen or heard of until I starting looking at “Vape Tricks” on the internet. I really like how this one looks and it honestly doesn’t look so hard to do. Here is a video I found that I really liked. The kid is somewhat longwinded but, he describes it pretty well.

4.       Dragon Exhale-

This is another one I’ve never heard of until know. This seems like another easy one to try and hopefully master! This guy has a weird lizard he kisses but, pretty good video how to!!

5.       Smoke Twister-

The Vapor Specialist at Flavor Vapor in Shawnee first showed me how to do this! Granted my twister looks more like a shallow dirt devil. This is a pretty easy trick to master! This guy has a major vape cloud!

Show us your tricks! Can you master all of these tricks? Do you have any trademark tricks? Let us know!

How to take care of your Vaporizer

When I started vaping I, didn’t know very much. I just thought you put e-juice in vape on it and charge the battery now and then. I didn’t even think about maintenance on my vape. Just like a car or any other piece of machinery my APV (Advanced Personal Vaporizer) device needed TLC now and then. So, I’ve come up with a few ideas to keep your vaporizer maintained!

Many of us don’t clean out vaporizer until a tank floods, changing e-juice, or charging the battery. This could mean you vaporizer doesn’t get cleaned but, every few weeks! Cleaning the connection between the battery and atomizer is easy and keeps a strong connection. You can use a clean dry lint free cloth to GENTLY clean both battery and atomizer connections. My personal favorite would be lightly dipping a q-tip with rubbing alcohol or Everclear grain alcohol and again GENTLY cleaning both battery and atomizer areas. While you have your vaporizer apart it doesn’t hurt to blow through the tip to make sure there is no fluid or e-juice stuck in there! When you put it back together handle it with care not to damage the small connections. A “snug” fit should be good!

I can’t ever stress enough about proper storage of these devices! Vaporizers have batteries that could combust without proper consideration! DO NOT charge your e-cig in your car. If you do…..do not leave it alone and do not charge it more than a few minutes! The adapters that are part of the wall charging unit have a safe feature that shuts off the charge to the vaporizer before anything could happen. Be careful of high temperatures like the inside of a hot car or lying out in the midday sun. Also like other mechanical devices you need to be careful of moister. Moister can damage and even kill a vaporizer.

So, the most obvious is don’t drop or throw your vaporizer. Vaporizers do have sensitive inner workings that could get damaged. Plus, these things are not indestructible! If you have any more questions concerning the care of your vaporizer call, comment, or come in one of our stores! We have knowledgeable staff that can help with you vaping needs!
